ARK has a specialist unit with capabilities to assess risks for a wide range of accident and travel business both on a direct or facultative reinsurance basis, with capacity to assume risk in general personal accident classes together with aviation, marine and sports exposures, ARK is ideally placed to provide service outside of the liability/casualty classes for most areas of what is conventionally considered "accident". Expertise is also available to underwrite short-term sickness coverage in conjunction with accident.
