Property Programs
The Property Programs business underwritten at the Ark syndicate will be made up of delegated underwriting authorities granted to independent insurance agents with long standing connections to the Lloyd's market and with the underwriters of the account.
Approximately 90% of the business underwritten will emanate from the USA with a small international and Canadian element.
The business accepted will be predominately short tail and will include exposures to windstorm, flood and earthquake.
The syndicate's focus is to develop a balanced book of business where peak exposures are managed and modelled internally and where coverholder relationships and control are key.
