Ark's 3902 Property Reinsurance account provides non-proportional protection against natural catastrophes.
The main focus of the account is on US catastrophe reinsurance with both nationwide and regional business written. A smaller proportion of the account is made up of international business from Canada, Japan, and the rest of the world.

Business underwritten by ARK has two principle routes:
1) Directly by Syndicate 4020
2) Via Incidental Syndicate 3902. Incidental Syndicate 3902 is part of 4020, however we have approval from Lloyds and the NAIC, to use a differentiating 3902 stamp. This allows teams acting for Incidental syndicate 3902 to differentiate themselves and their service from the pr-exisitng 4020 underwriters of those same classes. Incidental Syndicate 3902 risks are all underwritten 100% by syndicate 4020 and the capital supporting it.
